SCRAP PURCHASES
IMPORTANTANT NOTICE
Non-Copper that contaminates our process will be the liability of the supplier.
- Recovered copper price will be $.75 discount* to COMEX close the date the shipment is received
- Scrap should be accumulated into a minimum of 5,000 pounds.
- Scrap must be shipped freight prepaid
- A numbered bill of lading must accompany each shipment for tracking and payment references
- Cross-linked (XHHW-2 and USE-2) must be separated and marked accordingly
- Scrap must be removed from reels and packaged in large boxes
- Encore Wire will provide gaylord boxes on stock orders or job shipments
- Payment will be made 45-60 days after receipt of material
